The owners Mr. JP and Loga strive to make it your home away from home during your stay in Nuwaraeliya. JP is well-versed with all the information you would need about sightseeing in and outside of Nuwaraeliya, and it just takes one of Loga’s home cooked meals for you to fall in love with the place. You all can watch and learn cooking also.

JP Home Stay is the passion project of JP (Jai Prakash) and his wife Loga, a warm and welcoming couple who have called Nuwara Eliya home for decades. What started as a dream to share the beauty of Sri Lanka’s hill country with the world has blossomed into a homestay beloved by travelers from over 50 countries.
JP brings years of local knowledge and expertise in travel arrangements, ensuring every guest experiences the very best of Nuwara Eliya. From organizing tea plantation tours to arranging transportation and recommending hidden gems, JP’s insider knowledge transforms ordinary visits into extraordinary adventures.
Loga is the heart of our kitchen, preparing authentic Sri Lankan cuisine that guests consistently call “the best food in Sri Lanka.” Every meal is cooked fresh with love, using traditional family recipes and the finest local ingredients.
